The File - Options - User Interface section allows to control the options related to Remote Desktop Manager user interface, such as the language, the theme and the default behavior of the user interface.

Select the user interface mode:

 

Default (Ribbon)

Default (Menu)

Select the theme of the application. Select between:

Office 2013

Office 2016

Office 2016 (Dark)

Language

Select the language of the user interface.

Data source location

Select the position of the data source selection drop-down list:

Select the position of the repository dropdown list. Select between:

Select ribbon on start

Select a specific tab of the ribbon to focus on when starting the application. Select between:

Wait progress mode

Display the wait progress information in a window or in the status bar. Disable the wait progress by selecting None.

Use touch UI

Make the user interface bigger, and more suited a touch display.

Always on top

Keeps the application on top of all others.

Always show grouped tab bar

Always show the Grouped tab bar even if no grouped sessions are open.

Capitalize ribbon titles

Capitalize the title in the tabs of the ribbon.

Disable display scaling on high DPI settings

Prevent the application's scaling with high DPI settings.

Disable lock in file menu

Disable the lock button in the File menu.

Disable lock in quick toolbar

Disable the lock button in the quick access toolbar.

Disable ribbon quick toolbar

Disable the quick access toolbar above the ribbon.

Don't expand folders in Prompt for Credentials window

Do not expand the folders when the user is prompt with a list of credentials.

Force toolStrip image scalling on high DPI

Force the toolStrip image scaling on high DPI. Enabling this option may cause the toolbar buttons to appear smaller compared to the rest of the application.

Hide follow us

Hide the Follow Us section in the Help tab of the ribbon.

Hide tab strip page icons

Hide the icons of the tabs in the Dashboard.

Highlight active tab page

Highlight the active tab page when the session is selected.

Show group in tab title

Display the folder in opened tab title.

Use entry color in tab text

Display the same as color of the text for the tab color.

Use mouse hover to show/hide panel

Use the mouse to show panel when hovering over it.

Use tab strip overflow (disable multiline tab pages)

When there are too many active tabs for the width of the application, having this option checked will result in a new line of tabs to appear. If unchecked then arrows will appear to indicate more tabs are present.
