Description

 

The VMware Synchronizer is used to sync your complete virtual machine structure from VMware in Remote Desktop Manager, populating an Remote Desktop Manager structure based solely on the folder structure of VMware. It will automatically create sessions for each of your virtual machine.

 

VMware PowerCLI needs to be installed on your computer to be able to use the VMware Synchronizer. Follow Configuring VMware's PowerCLI for use by Remote Desktop Manager to configure it properly.

Host

Enter your VMware host.

Username

Enter your VMware username.

Password

Enter your VMware password.

Connection type

Select which type of sessions will automatically be created with your virtual machine between:

Default

VMware Remote Console

RDP

Console connection mode

Select your console connection mode between:

Default

VMware Player

VMware VMRC 8.0

Template

If using a template, enter your template path.

Destination group

Enter the path of the Folder under which you want the synchronization to be made (all your newly created sessions will appear under that folder).
