Description

 

Devolutions Web Login preferences are separated in five categories.

The General settings allow to control the default behavior of Devolutions Web Login.

 

General

OPTION

DESCRIPTION

Enable Remote Desktop Manager app

Allow to retrieve entries from Remote Desktop Manager. The application must be opened as well.

Enable Password Vault Manager app (Not recommended)

Allow to retrieve credentials from Password Vault Manager. The application must be opened as well.

Enable Devolutions Password Server

Allow to retrieve credentials from Devolutions Password Server. Further configuration is necessary in the DLVS settings of Devolutions Web Login and a user must be logged in.

Destination group

Enter the folder where the credentials are stored in the data source.

DESCRIPTION

Automatically retrieve credentials on page load

Devolutions Web Login automatically search for credentials in the data source when connecting to a website.

 

If disabled, click on the Devolutions Web Login extension icon to retrieve credential once connected to a website.

 

This process can cause performance issues if there is a large amount of entries in the data source.

Automatically fill in credentials on load

Automatically try filling in the credentials when loading a web page.

Automatically submit the form after filling

Automatically try submitting the credentials once the field are filled.

 

Appearance

DESCRIPTION

Show icon in fields

Show the Devolutions Web Login extension icon in the credential fields.

Show save site dialog

Prompt to save the provided credentials when logging in to a website.

Color the filled fields

Color the fields filled by Devolutions Web Login.

Select your favorite color

Select the color to use for the colored fields.

 

RDM (and PVM) Back to top

 

General

OPTION

DESCRIPTION

Use default port

Use the port 19443 to communicate with the application.

Port to use

Specify the port to use to establish the connection between the application and the extension. Only if the default port if disabled.

RDM application key

Secure the port with an application key. Use the same code here and in the client application.

 

In Remote Desktop Manager, navigate to File - Options - Browser Extensions to set the application key.

Server

Enter the URL of the Devolutions Password Server instance to connect to.

 

Never list Back to top

 

The Never list displays the list of websites which will never prompt to save credentials. Click the trashcan icon  to remove the site from the list.
